And as the sun sets down on this half-way beat up town
I would ride my bike into the fields
If I knew how to ride
And with the wind blowing right through my hair
I couldn't give a single care, because I have got you right by my side

And while the birds all seem to tweet I continue to use my feet
To run and run and run forever more
And if they leave for bigger things,
And even though it might just sting
I'd rather stay and fight this paintbrush war

And my dog bites and my friends fight, but I'll just stay up all damn night
Because the snow looks best when it strikes 4am
And god damn god this food is great
Throw me another Brownie, hey
I think I saw my mind float past right up the river Thames

Oh and I like to dance I like to sing, and sure I'll give that rock a fling
And play my music louder than I should
And though my life's full to the brink
Of all that boring stuff I think
Overall this half-beat town is pretty good.
